Hello. I’ve been trolling for a while and I’ve searched and can’t find anything on this so I finally joined to ask.
So the other day I was in a rush and had a minor brain lapse and tried to jump off my e and hooked the cables up backwards…. They were connected for 5 or 10 seconds before I realized anything.
I got a new battery, checked fuses, everything looked fine but still no start. I’ve now figured out, with the help of a few love taps, that my starter is bad.
However, after cranking, the ac controls are not working. Nothing at all, no fan, not even the ac, re circulate, and defrost buttons light up.
I did pull the ac/fan relay because I had read that it could drain battery but I put it back in and still nothing. I did put in back in when the car was running… Could this blow it?
Not trying to be selfish but I need help ASAP! I am loaning the car to a relative this weekend for a beach trip and it’s HOT!!
